In all the military, there are no servicemen and women more courageous than medics. Their job on the front line is to give aide and to retrieve those in need. Thousands of medical personnel gave their lives during WWII so that others could live. We honor and recognize the efforts of two such medical personnel.
Navy Corpsman; ours is a Pharmacist's Mate First Class C Company 1st Medical Battalion 1st Marine Division attached to the 7th Marines. The Marines did not have their own medical staff so they used the Navy's. Our Corpsman Field Uniform comes with HBT Marine Uniform, Web Harness and two Medical Pouches filled with medical supplies, Cartridge Belt, M2 Jungle Medical Kit filled with medical supplies, Helmet, Carbine rifle, .45 Side Arm and holster, two canteens with coves, K-bar knife w/sheath, Boondocker boots and a small Navy Hospital pouch filled with medical supplies. Also comes with white Navy Uniform, Jumper kerchief tie, t-shirt, Pork Pie hat, and blk shoes.
Second figure s an Army Medic, an Aidman from the 10th Mountain Division. This unit was created to fight in extreme mountainous terrain using specially developed mountain climbing and skiing skills. Comes with 10th Mountain Division pants, wool shirt, buckle boots, web harness, and two Medical Pouches filled with medical supplies, cartridge Red Cross Brassards, Red Cross Apron, helmet, combat field M43 jacket with M43 Jacket liner and a small hospital pouch filled with medical supplies. Also comes with his Army Service Dress Uniform which includes wool flannel shirt, khaki tie, olive drab wood pans, 3/4 high brown boots, Garrison cap, olive drab wood jacket (with engraved buttons), pants and belt. Does NOT include name badge or Convention Program.
