Convention set is based on the taking of the Pegasus Bridge at the beginning of the D-Day invasion. The 2001 figures are simply the best convention exclusives ever produced! Vintage reproduction figures have been used and the set also features the reintroduction of the vintage foreign GI Joe head sculpt for the first time since 1966!

The set consists of a German Sentry and a British Bren Gunner from the Oxfs & Bucks Light Infantry Division. These figures come with a ton of gear made of die case metal.

German figure is equipped with: helmet, boots, shirt, pants, leather belt with ammo pouches, Kar 98, Leuchtpistole flare pistol with holster and 2 shells, leggings, bayonet w/sheath, flashlight, hat & four grenades.

The British figure comes with: helmet, shirt, pants, Dennison smock, Bren gun w/stand and five clips, PIAT (anti-tank weapon) with two rounds, webgear wtih two ammo pouches, haversack, gas mask case, canteen, entrenching tool and cover, 2 smoke grenades, 2 fragmentation grenades, leggings, toggle rope and camouflage scarf. Does NOT include name badge, lanyard or convention patch.
