    My Cobra de Aco

This is my Cobra de Aco, complete with filecard.
The figure is a repainted Flash, with a chromed Snake Eyes (v1) head. I really like the combination of colors!

Great job on your custom. Is that a newer Flash body or is it an original 82/83 body?

Cobra de Aco was a mid 80s Brazilian release. I don't think this is a custom as it's not posted in the customs section, but rather an appreciation for this international (rare?) figure. Correct me if I'm wrong OP.

    Cool figure. Thanks for posting.

    Hi Roadpig,

This is a vintage Cobra de Aco, from Brazil, not a custom.

    Hi Crimson Canuck,

You are correct, this is the vintage brazilian Cobra de Aco, from 1986!

Love the figure. I was never able to get the Brazilian version, but was able to buy the Club 2011 version early on for like $80. It is one of my most prized figures. I think a carded mint Brazilian figure once popped up on ebay for like $4,000.

I have an original and a club version. I really like the S. American original figures. I'm looking for an original Letal, Kangor, or Cobra Mortal; but, their prices keep them out of reach. For some strange reason, I really like De Aco and Mortal. Escorpiao Voador and Abutre Negro are among my favorites as well. I keep hoping the club will redo those two in a sky patrol set.
