It's not about others opinion as much as it is about the different helmet choice. Most say a helmet change, and I get that. My previous posts have said "not perfect, but it works". My thing is why the steel brigade helmet? When I look at the SB helmet, all I see is steel brigade. So everybody who wants a change would rather have a steel brigade missle specialist? The points I'm trying to make are these ( and the ARAH collectors will get this ):
    1. It's got the red helmet with silver visor that looks closer to the original dome helmet.
    2. It's got the blue hose (that might be insignificant to some) that is not perfectly sized, but is there to give it that original vibe.
    3. The SB helmet looks like a Kylo Ren Voice Changer mask.
Anyways, I'm still voicing to keep it based on the points above. The poc and modern edition fans and such won't get it, but that's ok. As you said, everyone has their own opinion!!

The original figure did not have a breathing hose like firefighters wear stuck into its chest. If you don't like Steel Brigade helmet then there's always the SB Delta helmet.

I still would like someone with customizing and Photo Shop skills to try the ROC Flash gear as an alternative. If the chest piece and skirt piece work with the build, then it might be a better solution with that figure's helmet as well. The chest piece could be all gray with blue highlights/accents, the helmet could be repainted red with a paint applied in silver to the visor/goggles

I know it's not ideal but you could use the 50th Gen Hawk with the steel brigade helmet. Not sure if it will work with the Blowtorch or any of the other suggested torsos, but it will work withthe helmet
I was actually going to suggest this but thought I'd get yelled at, lol.

I just assumed it may be BT because the helmet fits properly with that head, it's not something I'd prefer. So, if it is, then the SB won't fit on it and would require a different head, like 50th hawk or SB just to name two. The Delta helmet requires an even smaller head, so maybe 25th wild bill head might fit, not sure, I never checked.

I'm not trying to knock any of the suggestions, I'm just trying to see if they could actually be a viable solution to the complaints and if they aren't, then we can move on. If they are then maybe someone in charge may look into it. You can't scream for change without showing that change can actually take place, especially in the parameters (what little we know) that the club may have. And one we know is that the parts have to fit without modding. Another is Hasbro's approval of any changes.

so, I tried that flash chest piece on the torso that's being used and it kind of fit. It's awkward for any head to fit right though. The helmet is a tight fit on the BT head (if it's being used) and really loose on the 50th hawk. And i tried that chest piece with the hawk/SB combo and it looked better, but the hawk head dissapears into the flash chest piece. The flash skirt piece is attached to the flash torso. Just found out that the 25th hawk head fits this torso really well and can accomidate the SB helmet, too small for the flash helmet though.

Now, if you meant to use the whole flash torso, then your looking at a rebuild. And honestly, I really don't like the aesthetics of the flash torso. The chest piece isn't bad looking, but its just awkward with a different torso.

No I was only looking at the chestpiece and helmet possibly. I also have no problem with the ROC Flash Head. Not every head under a helmet has to be unmasked entirely...

That chest piece with the SB helmet actually looks good together, and actually fits the BT torso better using the 25th hawk head, just tried it. Would like to see a photoshopped color picture with that vest and helmet on the club build to see if it aesthetically works.

    THIS!

Using the Steel Brigade helmet is going to make Fast Draw look like a member of the Steel Brigade. That helmet is so stylized that you can't see it as anything else.

Blowtorch's helmet and mask are the exact same argument. For those of us that grew up in the 80's, Steel Brigade was a mail-in figure that hardly anyone owned whereas Blowtorch was a major character. I'm still on board for a helmet change regardless of which SB helmet is used.
