    "Adventures of..." Con Set Heads

What sculpt did the Club use for these?

I say Timeless/Masterpiece/Rumored Club Exclusive Head for both figures, but someone on another forum swears up and down that the Freefall set was the last to use the Timeless, and the Aquanaut sports a Joe40 head.

The Aquanaut doesn't look to me like any Joe40 head I ever saw.

Please, Club, who is correct? And I don't think he'll except the potential "he's wrong" answer unless it comes straight from the horse's mouth.

The Club heads were unique to the Club exclusives and Cons, unless the paint jobs are different the Club has always used their unique head which is different from the Timeless release. Someone will have to do a caparison, I'll take photos of what I have but that Jungle Fighter looks like a new head - very vintage looking and again this may be from the paint app on these heads. The AT head looks like it may be a 40th.

The Land Adventurer in the Promotional image looks like a Walmart Joe, to me.

    Hey Guys!

I confirmed these details with Lanny:

"The 40th head tool is from a different factory than the Timeless head tool.

Those two figures were made at the factory with the Timeless head tool.

The factory with the Timeless head does not have access to the 40th head.

There appears to be a variation in the material used, though, giving the two heads a bit of a different look, one from the other."

    Thanks much, Commander.

I've done the other gentlemen a disservice, by misrepresenting him. Heinously in fact.

I'd like to let everyone here know he's not a bad sort, he's actually a very nice chap, and has helped me out a few times on advice, and the history of GI Joe.

I've apologized there, and I'll apologize here. Sorry Joe 90.
