    2018 G. I. Joe Club Convention Set Ideas... :)

Yeah, it's too early, lol, but we know the Club reads and considers threads on this site; so let's get it on!

    My vote for 2018...most wanted:

    1. The Red Shadows vs. OG 13 + Shooter
(RS + parachute drop Shooter would make up bulk of exclusives)

    2. Plague Troopers vs. Oktober Guard
(OG remaining figures + comic characters)

    3. Evil Headhunters vs. Drug Elimination Force

    4. Dreadnoks (Spacenoks) vs. Star Brigade

I did not consider sets that require unattainable levels of tooling, like Cobra-La and Lunartix...nor did I want to.

Seems kinda early, but I'll play along.

    1. DEF vs Headhunters as discussed previously. ME Bulletproof is probably in my top 5 wanted figures right now.
    2. Joe heavy weapons team vs Cobra tanks/vehicles (update guys like Fast Draw, Backblast, Downtown, Rock n Roll v2,etc.)
    3. Arctic mission (this could depend on what else we see at the con this year, but we need Blizzard, Sub Zero, Tundra Stalker, etc.)
    looking for:
vintage Capt Grid Iron helmet and football grenades
    vintage Backblast v1 missile launcher
DG Storm Shadow Bow (or similar mold in black)

    Same here; it is early.

    Here we go:
    1. DEF vs. Headhunters
    2. Red Shadows vs. Someone
    3. Joe Heavy Weapons (great idea jfaria!) vs. Plague Troopers
    4. Dreadnoks?
    5. Python Patrol with 2003 TRU set colors (could be cool)

These are probably not doable at the moment
    6. Star Brigade (would need an infusion of Hasbro cash)
    7. Cobra La (GIJCC currently prevented from using these by Hasbro)

I'm happy for all those that wanted BF2000; looking forward to all the reveals. Now that this set is official, I'll look forward to next year's set and hope that my number 1 most desired set makes the cut.

    1. D.E.F. Vs. Headman, Gristle & the Headhunters
    2. Action Force vs. Red Shadows
    3. Steel Brigade vs. The Plague
    4. Valor vs. Venom
    5. Spytroops (Yes, seriously)
    6. S.E.A.L Team Vs. Monsters of the deep
    7. Mega Marines vs. Arbco Industries
    8. Star Brigade Vs. Lunartics

My 2 most wanted sets now that Battle Force 2000 is getting released this year.

    1.

Mini vehicle - Shark 9000 (white VvV Piranha Attack Boat)
Large Vehicle & figure - Vapor & Cobra Buzzard(black Ret Eaglehawk)

Replace V2s Shockwave, Mutt and Cutter with Joes that haven't had a modern release yet.

    2.
    Battle on the Moon
    Star Brigade vs Cobranauts
Payload v1 , Countdown v1, Robo Joe, Hardtop, Effects, Spaceshot, Black Star, Target v1 x2, Astro Vipers x3, Star Vipers x3 = 15

I'm so thankful that BattleForce 2000 is being made. And now in turn, I will support the D.E.F. Movement of my fellow club members. I really do hope though, that they get a make-over, look more like a unit together, with Mace looking like an undercover biker or hillbilly with long hair, a beard, tattooed arms, and a badge on chain necklace that's easily removable. I hope the other members like Bullet Proof, Long Arm, Shockblast, and Cutter all have Kevlar vests with "DEF," printed on the front and back. I think you can do this set well with existsing parts, some new gear (like the Kevlar DEF vests) and a couple new heads. I think an undercover Mace, would be the most expensive figure of the set, if he was done to look like a true undercover drug trafficker, which I think he should be given his filecard specialty and the fact the nostalgic figure looked neither like a white collar nor biker style undercover agent.

I listed 7 sets in my above post, but I hope that it is DEF, Cobra-La, or Star Brigade considering that 2018 is supposedly the last Joe Con before the Hasbropocalypse

Give me anything with DREADNOKS or NINJA FORCE /NINJAS BATTLES and I'm a happy guy. Heck you can combine force and battles and send all of us ninja lovers into overload.

The "Hasbropacalypse." I love it. Such a bad idea and such a good name for it
