The club likes to introduce new characters in there con sets. They club has given us such original gems as Hotwire, Crimson Asp, Repulsor w/Dawg, Freestyle, Demolisher and Crusher, just to name a few. So the question is, what is missing ? What field of expertise or military specialty is underrepresented or not represented at all? What does joe or cobra need, that it doesn't already have?

I always thought that the joes were a little thin on their Marine and Navy personnel. I would like to see a Marine officer on the team. And on a personal note,I'd also like to see a Seabee (a member of the Navy's construction battalion) join the joes. My dad was a Seabee, so yeah, I'm kind of biased in that regard.

Crew Chief (Jet Mechanic). I worked on F-15's in the military, so it would be nice to have a few more of the support groups represented besides just pilots, drivers, and specialist. I know there are a few like Gaucho and Steam-Roller, but there is a lot of equipment that needs to be maintained. Not to mention Cobra's side is really lacking on that front, but that can be explained as funding requires them to be soldiers as well as other duties.

one thing I've noticed is that most Brigadier Generals (Like Hawk was as after his v2 figure came out) have a junior officer (1st Lieutenant or Captain) who acts as their aide-de-camp. Yet hawk doesn't really have one. I know some people will say that Cover Girl in Rise of Cobra was his aide but she was an enlisted aide not an officer level aide. Also while we have a nice array of females (Scarlett, Cover Girl, Lady Jaye, Jinx, Bombstrike, Dr. Carla Greer, Agent Helix, Freestyle and on the foreign front figures like Glenda, Quarrel, Daina, Sparta, Agent Natalie Poole) with the exception maybe of Dr. Carla Greer we have very few if any female officers among the American side of things.

On the Cobra Side you have BAroness, Zarana, a few different figs with the code name Vypra, and Captain Bristow and her band of night stalkers, and Crimson Asp but not many females even on their side. Yeah I know that Hasbro is of the opinion that fmelae figures don't sell.

I'm am a male yes but during my active collecting years of 1985/6 to 1993 I had Lady Jaye, Zarana, Jinx, and Ninja Force Scarlett plus after I came back into collecting 3 years ago I actively seeked out Scarlett, Cover Girl, Baroness, and newer female figs like Bombstrike, Carla Greer (Tanks for the memories was the first Con Set I bought aftermarket(), and various other female figs put out by Hasbro and or the club

There is a whole slew of characters never made into figures that the club could give us from the Cartoons :)

◾Alice:
Alice was an aircraft mechanic at G. I. Joe Headquarters. She periodically helped change the security codes on the SkyStrikers. Alice had long, dark hair, a low voice with a Southern accent, and a dark green worksuit. She spoke 2 lines in Lasers in the Night.

This! Would love a Marine officer, someone with a decent rank like an O-5 or O-6

I wold like to see the figures have a military "dress uniform" version of each. We had Gung-Ho in his Military Dress blues (still waiting on the ME version) but don't you want to see Hawk, Duke, Scarlett, Shipwreck, Wet Suit, Letherneck, Ace, Cutter all in their dignified ceremonial attire? I certainly would.

Amen brother!!!! I agree 1000%. Class A uniforms, representing all branches are definitely something that have been missing for far too long!

Cutter gets lonely out there. We should have a Coast Guard version of the Eaglehawk, with a Coast Guard search and rescue team.

I also think a set of dress uniform figures would be kind of cool. Neat way of celebrating the different military branches if you put in one from each!

I also like the idea of another Cobra female.

That could be interesting. It would offer an opportunity to reissue the rare 30th Anniversary Life Line figure, and we still need a decent modern era updated version of Cutter. The 2008 figure with the reused Gung Ho head was disappointing. I understand the desire to save money on production cost, but to slap a Gung Ho head on a Shipwreck body and paint the letter "B" on the front of the hat is a joke.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't that Cutter the result the fandom complaining that this was an easy recipe to crank out a Cutter figure after Hasbro had said no Cutter was planned? If so it is neither a money saving measure or a joke, but Hasbro giving the fans what they wanted and it blowing up in their face.

Roadblock's not mean enough for you? I'm trying to imagine a remold of the Resolute RB with a chef's hat and apron, and it's entertaining me greatly.

I totally agree on the nurses, though. I'd like to see a whole support staff con set or something like that. A couple nurses, Sparks, Alice, a couple new greenshirts maybe, heck, even a Roadblock in kitchen whites.

I like the idea of nurses as well. It's a good way to set them in a pack with a modern era Carla "doc" Greer, or a way for the club to release Stretcher.

:) A new Whale would be awesome. Maybe they could produce one the same basic size and concept that is not quite as fragile as the original.

I am all for a kick starter for the Flagg. I just mentioned in another forum that I would love to see a character that specializes in historical weapons and their use. Sort of a nerd librarian that can disarm you with a rapier, trap you with a net, knock you out with a mace, take out a target with a sling or simply smash the opponent with a club.

HISTORIAN
FILE NAME: Benjamin J. Davis
BIRTHPLACE: Boston, MA
PRIMARY MILITARY SPECIALTY: Infantry
SECONDARY MILITARY SPECIALTY: Intelligence

Born to the curator and a docent to the same museum, Historian grew up with a fascination for knowledge, and is a walking dictionary when it comes to the past, no matter how distant or recent. He learned all about all the weapons in all the halls of the museum, and trained on many of them when he grew old enough. He is a master fencer, and a crack shot with any firearm made before 1950.

I agree with having more of the Joes in their dress uniforms. Especially figures of generals and admirals. A lot of what happens in the Joe universe takes place with the orders being handed down by Admiral Ledger and General Austin and the Jugglers among other officers. It would be a nice set of military dress uniformed officers and soldiers as well.

A Cold Slither and GI Joe Rock band set would be great - Cold Slither Zarana could be reissued and it would fun to get punk rock versions of the Dreadnoks, and "groupie" versions of Scarlett, Cover Girl and Lady Jaye.

Remember Cold Slither was a fun episode and it is sooo! 80's with the joes singing a rock opera rendition of their own theme song (talk about breaking the forth wall).

Iron Klaw- Foreign dictator. Not into the whole civilian side support staff thing, but then again I am not building diorama's. I think it would be cool if the club makes named military veterans, like they did for the 12 inch line. I wouldn't mind a modern era R. Lee Ermy, or Collin Powell. They could also make a McArthur, Eisenhower, and Petreus.

Maybe a complete overhaul of Sgt. Savage instead. Sgt. Savage was a cool idea, but the presentation was very 90's. Some of you guys will say "Well duh CR, it was the 90's" but think about it, big kitschy guns and sound gimmicks, obscure theme song and almost caricature style animation models. Sgt. Savage could be redone with the Super-Articulated body and the Sgt. Savage head, uniforms from some of the past WWII themed sets, and authentic weapons. A second set of "Battle Torn" fatigues featuring rips, tears, and maybe blood (a minimal amount)?

A "throwback" set would be great. Figures of characters that are long gone but paved the way for the Joes of today. A set would go a long way in setting up more slots in future figure subs.
