Is it me or does he not have knee joints?

Oh and I think he needs some goggles like all of the other arctic joes

I hope the speed of which we see the 6.0 revealed suggests a definite plan for FSS 7.0...dare I say FSS 8.0 before all is said and done (assuming delivery of FSS 8.0 would not need to occur before 12/31/18)?

Me too. But when is 6 supposed to start? In order for this to happen the first set would have to go out in July, and we would have to preorder 7 in Nov so it could start in January. That's not much time to build the figures.

I'm really happy with this assortment! The only dissapointment is no Tomax or Crystal Ball :( I really, really hope the club can get us those. But this assortment is looking great! Glad to have Guillotine, the Worms Officer sounds cool, and Skip is a much needed leader for my Z-Force team.

I can honestly say with no exaggeration that this year is the first time I took one look at just the figures named and said "Yeah, I'm in!". Sub Zero, Rampart, Guillotine and Ghost Rider are all high on my list. W.OR.M.S. is a solid candidate for top Cobra in this, if he's done right. Even Dojo is now making me want that less than great Ninja Force Scarlet to complete my set.

What an awesome varied line-up. Sub-Zero looks really cool. And, finally Dojo!!

Here's hoping we'll get Crystal Ball sometime.

This was one of my favorite arctic joes, I'm really happy he's in this set. I can't tell from the picture but can his mortar fit on the back pack like the originial? Even if it can't it looks amazing, can't wait for this one!

Skoor... those legs look like FSS 2.0 Big Bear's legs to me...
Sygil... i highly doubt the mortar will attach to the backpack... it looks like it's from the 50th Spirit figure: rucksack at the bottom, with places up top to hold two more magazines of darts for his rifle.

Edit: Sub Zero wasn't my first Joe recruit. That honour went to Blizzard. Tundra Stalker i think was next, but Sub Zero was definitely part of my earlier Joe team, so i'm glad the extra effort went into this figure's design. he even got his mortar and machine gun!

This really looks like a cool figure. The legs look a little weird to me, but if they're that same as Big Bear, I'm in! I' interested to see the rest of the mock ups, but this looks like a solid lineup.

This is a great start to fss 6 and Sub-Zero looks even better than the original o-ring version with all that updated gear.

A good use of parts to bring an updated version of this older figure.

Hi Guys,

I can confirm that the knees bend (same legs as our FSS 2: Big Bear). Also, the inclusion of the tranquilizer dart rifle is for him to handle unruly polar bears.

Quick question: will the figure stand on the final version be black or white/clear as hinted at in the mock-up?

I would have preferred the original coat they used with Big Bear, but the hood wouldn't have been usable. Still a solid build.

Yay for FSS 6.0! I've been wanting a modern Sub Zero. He was my main arctic guy as a kid (too young to get Snow Job, never bought Iceberg & Blizzard for some reason). This looks like a solid reveal to start us off.

Hi Guys,

I can confirm that the knees bend (same legs as our FSS 2: Big Bear). Also, the inclusion of the tranquilizer dart rifle is for him to handle unruly polar bears.

For those that don't have Big Bear though, those knees aren't the normal double jointed knees like most modern figures. There is a single hinge joint and a swivel joint just above the knee (kind of like how the elbows are constructed).

Quick question: will the figure stand on the final version be black or white/clear as hinted at in the mock-up?

If we are taking a vote here, I would like to see it changed to black. Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I like all my main line Joe guys to match. Iceberg was white, but Snow Job and Frostbite had black stands so there is precedent either way it's not like all arctic guys have white stands.

I like the figure. I agree with other members. He needs a set of goggles & his hat should be white, grey or blue. He looks too much like Low Light. Still like him & will probably place an order once all reveals are done.

Would like to see the blue toned down to a more blue/grey, and think the painted on buttons look a little ridiculous.

Don't care for the 90's figs, but he looks spot on.

I hope this is not the definitive version of Sub Zero....

I think the club can make something much better.
