This is why I'm an Adventure Team man, but one question still remains...

How much scratch for the Add-on? 2013's surpassed the club membership cost, which is silly.

I can't say that I'm particularly excited about yet another Man of Action figure with hard hands. I thought the 50th anniversary would have resulted in something either nostalgic and/or something really original.

I would have liked to see a modern take on the army nurse (or any female figure), the Intruder, an Eagle-Eye, or even Super-Joe. If they had made this MoA a talker, that would have at least been something.

I think that the club kind of dropped the ball on this one. Oh well, maybe we'll get something more exciting next year.

We don't know yet as we don't have final costs from the factory. Also, these are VERY short run and they do cost a lot. If they could be cheaper, they would be.

Thanks!

This is a figure we have been asked for a lot and we felt it would be appropriate to round out finishing all of the AT reproductions on the 50th. Thanks!

I've been looking into the other forums (joecustoms) and, they seem a bit unenthusiastic about the 12" figure. They say that it's lazy, and the accessory set contains things that every collector has. They also say that the cost of one of these can equal a vintage of the same type. While their last point may be true, ok, their 2nd and 3rd points are true. So I'd suggest an additional add on. Something really special, that embodies the feel of the early 70's. Though not a child of that decade, I've done my research, so I know that the early Man of Action used both sets from the Adventure Team, and remainders of the Soldier/Sailor/Pilot/Marine lines.

To make a long story short (too late), an interesting set involving both Adventure accessories and slightly militant accessories. Perhaps a take on "Infiltration," or Espionage" or something. Camoflage Jacket and pants with a web belt (with canteen, sidearm), rifle, knit hat, evidence (of MARS' involvement in some bad things). Just an idea. Not too exciting, I know you guys can do better (than my idea).

Agreed. I need this figure to complete my Club figures of Land, Air, Sea, Adventurer, Astronaut and the black and white talking Commander's. Nice work!

Poor though is the 50th logo on the T shirt. That looks totally RAH. The T should have a 100% 1964 related logo.

Going forward I'd love to see an "Adventures of" line up including Aquanaut. ...and the Japanese Imperial.

Please!

Agreed, that would be fun. Expand the "prototype" Adventure Team, their affiliates, and their adventures. Although I still want my "Highland Adventurer" vsion to be made into plastic.

No lebel pistol and shoulder holster??? I think it's missing something.

No lebel pistol and shoulder holster??? I think it's missing something.

The Man of Action in 1970 had no firearm. He used his fists like a man.

Also, not to nit-pick, but the label of "Lebel" on the Adventure Team pistol is wrong. It's not just you, everyone does it, the piece is actually a Nagant Revolver M-1895. Granted there are at least three variations of the firearm given to us by Hasbro/Club, so they could cover the 1893 and 1887 models.

Brian. Does that mean we will see the talking man of action and the talking astronaut this year? Hoping!

I'm stoked about this news! I'm one who has been hoping and posting for this figure for years! Thanks Brian!!!!!!!!! It will hopefully have blue eyes in the final version, but I'll be very very happy to add this guy to my club adventure team. I never had this one as a boy, but always wanted one. The club heads are the best, and the boxes are top quality too. Can't wait to get mine!!!

Man, I think I can remember seeing these guys on the shelf back in 1971. I got the AT helicopter and the AT Headquarters for Christmas, and then we went shopping for the GI Joe figure later. I remember liking the box on the Land Adventurer the best, and liking that he had camo and a beard. I wish I could have taken home more than one AT guy! Well, now it's all made up for!

The club heads are the best,

I Don't mean to pick nits, but the heads the Club uses should be the Timeless Collection heads. I also thought they looked better than the 40th Anniversary heads.

And just adding this, I heard somewhere that the Original head molds sank in a ship. Would that be true, anyone?

I like the figure and add on. Just wish they got the logo on the t-shirt right. A RAH logo? Please.

You forgot one AT figure: Talking Astronaut. The one you put out was not a fuzz head.

Stand the box upright, then pick it up and read the bottom where it says copyright 20 Hasbro...

I received my basic membership figure. Have to say that the flocking is uneven on the sides of his head. The flocking on the left side is a bit thin - looks like he had a pre-operation shave. My second figure with box and uniform arrived and everything looks great. Figure's flocking is fine. The Club may want to be on alert for a number of Quality Control issues and stand ready to respond.
Here are my guys. The guy in the Cots black t-neck and jeans is going to get Cots gripping hands to be consistent with his KFG box.

Hi, Just curious about the Man of Action Box you got. Is your dated copyright missing the last two digits? Mine says 20 Hasbro, not 2014 the last two digits are missing. By the way, Nice Joe Collection.

My flocking is fine. Rather, the flocking on my new Joe is fine. Although his left forearm is a little loose.

I just got my MOA Friday. While I was at the convention this year I picked up the special box and extra clothes for him.

Did anyone else find the box to small? He doesn't fit in the box. I hate to be picky, but I was kinda disappointed.
Is it me or anyone else feel the same way?

How about the box being to small.

That would be too small my friend, not to small.:)

Do you mean too narrow?

http://www.thetrenchesforum.com/photopost/data/509/medium/Club_MOA_1.jpg

Because it looks OK in this guy's collection, it looks like it may even be bigger compered to the WalMart GI Joe Box. That may be perspective, but it may be bigger.

I know I'm probably a little behind but, I just received my 2014 Man of Action in repro box. AWESOME! I only wish the club would make the talking Man of Action and the talking Astronaut to complete the set of AT hard hand figures. How about we show some support to finish what was started!
