The attack plans of General Mayhem appear totally chaotic and disorienting to his opponents, but ultimately come together in an indomitable orchestration of air, sea and land superiority. The Iron Grenadiers are counting on his leadership to takeover the billionaire's tropical island!

Visit the official 2015 GIJoeCon (http://www.gijoecon.com/il2015/) website and click on the Con Exclusives menu button to check out the final Iron Grenadier action figure included in this year's 3 3/4-inch box set!

I hope the actual figure looks better than the CGI we have just gotten because this figure does not look good. A little disappointed doesn't even cover it.

Hello MODS, can I get a clarification on the officers jacket? Is it a new torso or is it a "vest" style over an older torso like cross country? THX

Guys, I was not following the club yet in 2005. Can anyone give me the general backstory on this character?

After going back and looking at the '09 Destro, the Gen. Mayhem definitely looks like a new vest piece, opening those possibilities.

Crimson Canuck = It is a secondary piece that fits over the existing figure torso.

jyoders19 = General Mayhem replaced Voltar* as Destro's Infantry Commander.

*Spoiler Alert: Larry Hama wrote that Voltar died after being buried alive in G.I. Joe A Real American Hero Issue #98

Is that patch design on his arm new? If so what is it meant to signify?

This figure looks like it fits in with some other 'FORCE' ... The IRON GRENADIERS have always been hard-to-swallow and I'm glad the classic line stuck with COBRA throughout publications... Overall, this figure looks great and would make good backup for IG DESTRO in case his DESPOILER crash lands in the rolling plains of SCOTLAND.

Voltar died? Oh, crap, this is going to ruin my Oktober Guard vs. IG diorama...

I read a few of the IDW Hama early issues. Seems like he's doing a lot of the stuff he likely wanted to do back in the day in terms of having real bullets, killing off certain characters and introducing new backstories for others.

jyoders19, the nice thing is while lots of nice Joes (and Cobras) died in the Comics does NOT mean that we can't find a way to still utilize them. You could always have Voltar in charge of certain troops and Mayhem others.

So since Voltar is dead, does that mean it won't make sense if I want to set up and take pics of my 2012 and 2915 grenadiers together? :(

So are we sure General Mayhem and Miles Mayhem from M.A.S.K. aren't the same person?

That is the same patch used on the 2005 General Mayhem action figure. It signifies that he is a former Spetsnaz (Special Purpose Forces) commander.

jyoders19 = General Mayhem is Russian and his full name is Vladimir P. Mayhemovski, so no family connection.

Is Mayhen intended to be Voltars successor?
