This date aligns with MY spring break (I teach 4th grade), so I 'm all for it!

6 1/2 hour car ride? You mean one helluva road trip with my son. ;)

Well it looks like me and my buddy are going. I think this will be easy drive then the Dallas Texas drive which was 18 to 19 hours drive from Michigan. It looks like 2 General package for us.

This one is a no go for me. St. Louis or Chicago i could have done, but airfare to Springfield is another $200. OR a rental car for the same... can't justify a $1000+ for airfare and hotel before i even buy my admission, food or Joes.

from Kansas City this is very doable...so i got my hotel reserved and am very excited. Last year was my first Con that I traveled to and had to fly. This year driving will be very doable! Very excited and looking forward to it

My brother and are are overjoyed about the location. I'm lucky enough to be about an hour and a half away from Springfield. It's a cool town which is easy to get around and has some awesome restaurants. I think it has got a more small town vibe which should make it a perfect fit for clandestine cobra operations. I think some of our former and current state politicians might be on extensive enterprises payroll, which explains our current debt crisis. Again, thanks for choosing Springfield. I never thought I'd get an opportunity to actually go to a JoeCon!

If I get to go, I'm gonna go as Chuckles. Two years ago I was the Counter Culture Adventurer, and It turned out wonderfully. I feel like my Chuckles costume will be better.

Just an interesting thing about Chuckles, I always got a Miami Vice vibe from him.
