Nice-looking figure. I was never a fan of this character but this is a very well-executed remake. The new face gives him a lot more personality than he ever had before.

Awesome. I was never into this guy, '91 was my junior year in high school. But this figure is making me like the character. Awesome job, Club.

This wan't a must have for me to pass onto my nice and nephew, but if we get Glenda next year it will be worth collecting more Action Force variations onto them...

Ha, that's exactly me! I've come to appreciate the SAF's involvement with Joe forces; so glad they got this right.

Nicely done!

This wasn't one that was on the top of list when the roster was revealed but he's not up there with Slice and Muskrat!

Great Job. It looks awesome.

A good looking figure with a great head! He's also less cold weather and bulky as I had feared, so that's also a plus. Standard silver weapon gripe applies. Again, anyone want to take a chrome silver M203 into combat on a sunny day? I'm also not thrilled with the 25th Rock 'N Roll ammo "belts". They aren't belts and they just look too dated. Hasbro proper needs to tool some new MG belts that are correctly scaled, because those .50 belts are too big, and the RnR bandolier doesn't cut it. But really, not a huge deal. I plan on swapping out his weapons for a Marauder Gun-Runners MG anyway, as that comes with an attached ammo box, so Big Ben won't need to carry belts across his chest.

It was hard to pick and choose which JOES you wanted by the time BIG BEN was released in '91. But BIG BEN is probably at the top of many a collectors list when it comes down to classics! Love the SAF logo on the arm. Fits very well.

I love this figure! For the most part FSS 3.0 reveals so far have been an All-Star lineup that has knocked most of them out of the park!

Absolutely awesome!!! I liked Big Ben when he first appeared in the early 90's in the wave that included Red Star, Big Bear, and new versions of Dusty and Low Light if I'm not mistaken. I liked the idea of the Joe's bringing in specialists from other countries and I thought Big Ben had a lot of potential. I liked the original figure back then, but this one is just awesome in my opinion! He looks stronger and his face looks great. Can't wait to get him!! Great job again, Club!!

I'm not completely sure, but I think the Glenda character was actually Quarrel, which the club put out last run. She also sports the British flag on her arm. Like I said--I'm not completely sure, so I hope everyone takes it easy on me if I didn't get the details exactly correct!

This is my new favorite figure of the set now. Fantastic looking specimen right here. Hopefully the actual prototype looks as good as this photoshop mock up. In 1991, Big Ben was one of my favorite joes. If I recall correctly, I bought him and Crimson Gaurd Immortal at the same time. For an 11 year old, that's a big deal. '91 was an awesome joes year....even with all the neon.

Glenda and Quarrel are different characters. Glenda was a blue and silver repaint of Scarlett from Argentina, and we basically got that figure from Hasbro with the 25th blue pilot Scarlett. See links to YoJoe below.

Glenda then (http://www.yojoe.com/action/int/arg-glenda.shtml) and now (http://www.yojoe.com/action/08/scarlett10.shtml)

Quarrel then (http://www.yojoe.com/action/int/quarrel.shtml) and now (http://www.yojoe.com/action/13/quarrel.shtml)

i always thought big ben was a bit, older?
they could have used diffrent lower legs and chest..
might be just me but, kinda seems like all the figures lately have just been "cookie cut outs".

Wow, knocked this one out the park. No serious complaints.
My only tweak would be the ammo belts - cloth belts went out of use years ago, although I can imagine them being the 5.56 cloth bandoliers being worn for reloading buddies magazines and wearing 7.62 belts over them.
I assume the left sleeve will say "SAS" since he is on exchange from the SAS to GI Joe although I guess SAF fits the storyline (I could be confused).
Still not liking the trend of silver firearms. Don't we have a M240 series MG tooling similar to his original available? The M60 just is not true to the v1 version and is pretty much obsolete unless it is a modified version that the SEALs use which is not what is pictured.

That head could be used for a Frostbite, I think.

Excellent! The weapons are a bit off in my opinion, but I have plenty of spare weapons. The body choice is dead on. The face is a youthful, more personality shown look. All in all. I love it.
