Look ok, but give him a sheath or a holster.

Pretty much what I expected for the most part, but even though the legs look fairly accurate there's something about them I don't care for. Not sure what though.? Maybe its just the coloring from photo shop?

11-14-2017, 02:33 PM
Looking at the original compared to this, I really like it. I hope that the in hand is better than the mock up, color wise, but, this is very good.

CC I think you are correct. The image colors are brighter than what the figure will have, like with Scoop.

Very much like I expected. I concur with bassistcarlos though.

Skidmark is spot on. The best reveal yet.

11-14-2017, 03:01 PM
Definitely the best reveal yet.

its spot on but not one I was looking forward too

No changes needed, yet it's too simple of a figure. Funny how my posts keep getting deleted or edited. Yesterday I said they were getting off too easy, especially for$35 a figure. I wonder how long before this will be taken off or edited?

Looks like Skidmark!

I actually think he needs a different torso under that vest.

He has POC Snake Eyes/Stalker/Steel Brigade arms, which have a ribbed texture, but his torso is smooth as a baby's bottom.

My only critiques are give him the same torso so it looks uniform and for him to have a sheath/holster for his weapons.

Otherwise, great figure!!

I thought the same thing myself but then I wondered if the arms are the sleeves of a two tone jacket and the smooth torso is the T-Shirt underneath.

Can we please change the torso to the knitted sweater torso that matches the arms? The original figure had a knitted torso.
Also this combination will make his arms too long.

Treadmark (Skidmark) is pretty much what was expected. Looks like a great figure though. Glad we're getting a lot of 1987-89 driver figs recently.

How about we update the head, so that the goggles are tinted & allow us to see the intensity in the eyes of the man would call handle the Turbo accelerated speed of the G.I.Joe Desert Fox. Skid or Tread. This figure almost hits the "Mark".

11-24-2017, 11:15 PM
Scratch that last. So I'm going to say what everyone is thinking. This figure is great but the skid mark name need to be kept for nostalgic purposes. Tread mark just doesn't have the same ring to it.

11-25-2017, 09:54 AM
Looks good. Nice work Club.

11-25-2017, 10:46 AM
Yes, the new name is stupid.

11-25-2017, 03:34 PM
I thought the name change was weird also, so I did a little digging and it turns out Treadmark is the code name given to this figure on the International release of the Desert Fox.

11-26-2017, 12:53 PM
What I find amusing is that "Treadmark" sounds like "Trademark." Great play on words if "Skidmark" was unavailable due to trademark issues :)

11-29-2017, 03:50 PM
Yup. They just rearranged the letters in TrADEmark to TrEADmark. Well played Club!!!

I like this one a lot. One of the few characters from this series I actually want. My only complaint, and its small, is that the texture on the torso doesn't match the sleeves. What kind of shirt is he wearing? If the POC Snake Eyes torso that originally used those arms doesn't fit that vest, could the 25th Beachhead torso work to give his shirt a consistent texture?

12-04-2017, 07:15 PM
Looks like Skidmark's revised name has redeemed him.
