I'm very close to the home office so no surprise.

Got mine, too. The two figures I honestly cared least about from this FSS. Glad that's over with. I'll probably sell the troop builder. Maybe the Joe, too.

Yep, got mine in Mansfield Tx. On the first day they started showing up. I'm happy with both. The Joe looks better than the ROC and con set versions, while the 2nd figure is a good representative of his original figure, and looks pretty good too.

I also received mine yesterday. Kind of a mixed bag because its not my two favorite characters.

1. Charbroil - I have a certain level of nostalgia for him as he is one of the first joes I received (Christmas 1988, sooo long ago :( )I think it's a good representation of the original and a real necessity for anyone wanting to complete the '82-'94 line in ME style.
2. Battle Corps Viper - I don't really know what to say, but it's a purple Cobra Viper :D. This figure might look good in the blue, black, and red of the '86 Viper (hint, hint). I actually passed in this figure for months back in 1993/94 because I thought he was so odd and out of place. I believe I eventually picked him up in Wallgreens or Pathmark for $1 or $2 on clearance in late 1994 after Joe had officially died. Overall I think the FSS figure is pretty good considering the source material.

Can't wait for wave 1B

Wave 1B - I'll say this. We've waited all these years for a modern era Salvo. What's a few more weeks? Oh wait, what am I saying. Send Salvo home right now. Let our wait be over!!!

Los Angeles, CA. Got mine Saturday when I got home from work. Thrilled with the card art on Charbroil and the figure is an extremely nice addition. I was not excited, at first, about the BC Viper. In hand, however, he looks pretty good. I have one for my shelf and one for my wall of carded figures. Let's get Sneak Peek and Steel Raven in wave 2.

I got mine last week and I really like the Charbroil. I kinda wish he had the unmasked head from the NF version, but I will probably keep his helmet on so it's not a big deal.
I'm selling the Viper though. It's a very accurate representation the old figure, I just have no interest in having these guys in my display personally.
As a side note, I think both of these figures come with the perfect amount of accessories. They have what they need for their specialties, and they can carry all of it without a lot of extra pieces to lose.

Since we are discussing the figures in this thread, maybe admin or someone should change the title to include a SPOILER ALERT for people who haven't received theirs yet.

I, too, will see if there are any takers for BC Viper. If somebody is really into this era it looks like there'll at least be an opportunity to troop build.

I kinda like the color scheme of the Viper. I made him the gunner on my SDCC Shockwave Hiss.

That would fit well. Nice job slotting.

Probably the two I looked forward to the least, so I'm happy to get them out of the way. Still, nice work on them, they're exactly what they should be. Still wish that if an army builder type figure is in an FSS, it should also be available in a bagged three pack or something. If not, I wish army builders were kept out.

Looking forward to the next shipment!

I loved charbroil and these 2 and gaucho were my bottom 3

OK, here are my thoughts. With Charbroil, I was very disappointed in his head. I mean, a generic ski mask used on a bunch of Cobras? What happened to the head from the Night Force Charbroil? Other than that, I liked it. Like the Viper too. I know most people hated the 90's Joes, but to this day I still like most all of them. Especially, yes, Ice Cream Soldier. Bad name? Oh yeah, but cool figure. Purple and gray Viper was cool too. Not my favorite, but not a horrible figure by any means. And look at the bright side on both figures, we got 2 Shock Vipers and the Iron Anvils out of those moulds. What more could we ask for?

I was thinking of painting the Cobra trooper into the Iron Anvil color scheme. They are almost the same figure mock-up. Charbroil looks good though.

My Newphew swapped the Night Force head for the masked one, and it looks great! Think I'm going to look for another NF Charbroil, and swap the heads out. I'm sure I can use the body for some project or another.

I ended up using a Star Wars head I had laying around. Maybe not ginger-y enough, but at least he won't have the same facial structure as Dice...

Not yet but I can't wait for the next shipment

Closer to once a month.... if they're on track.

jared.vitosh@gmail.com

Yeah the intended schedule is one per month if we are lucky. Last year the shipment right after Joe Con was delayed because they were (somewhat understandably)busy shipping the remaining Joe Con items and Homefront Heroes sets.

Okay-thank you for the information. I thought I had read in the past that they ship every two weeks somewhere. This is my first fss subscription so im new to the scheduling of the shipments.

Two figures each shipment and the last one has three. The second mailing was Salvo and Darklon, First shipment was Charbroil and the Neon Viper update 94?

My Nephew and I got ours about three weeks apart. Don't know if that says anything at all, really. might get the next set in five.....but I for one like the three week track they seem to be on. :)

Okay :)

I saw the numbers of the figures on the card and was confused.

Thank you All :)

Understandable since the shipment was originally meant to be the THIRD shipment but ended up having to be the second shipment
