I like it. Not quite what I imagined, but still pretty good.

08-16-2016, 01:05 PM
Largely what I expected, but completely acceptable.

08-16-2016, 01:20 PM
That will sooooooo work. Thank god you used the Resolute Destro feet from the 25th anniversary comic pack.

08-16-2016, 01:27 PM
I gotta comment again on this. You nailed this one. Good job Club!!

08-16-2016, 02:07 PM
Awesome job. LOVE the archangel wings! Really glad I subscribed just to get this terrorist Falconer who doesn't wear shirts.

08-16-2016, 02:18 PM
I love it. The parts work perfectly.

08-16-2016, 02:31 PM
This is great! 5.0 is shaping up to be the best of all the FSS. So far, I've enjoyed every single reveal. (Except Darklon's arms...:-) )

08-16-2016, 05:02 PM
I never liked this character before but now he looks like a must have! Very nice.

08-16-2016, 05:03 PM
Ah snap. Now I gotta get this wave. This one is in the same ball park as Big Boa for me. Just awesome.

08-16-2016, 05:46 PM
i'm pleasantly surprised by this figure.... i could actually find a place for him within my jungle viper troops.

PS: that belt, taken from retaliation Zartan, also fits the ultimate Roadblock waist. please consider using this belt instead of the "brass knuckles" belt (Battle-Kata belt) for future club figures using the ultimate Roadblock body!

PPS: i'm actually impressed by 4 out of the 5 reveals so far (i don't give a flying finger about Darklon... this version looks like he belongs in the Tiger Force)

I'll say it again, I love this Raptor. Very pleased we're getting him. And here's hoping Crystal Ball is our membership figure.

08-16-2016, 08:30 PM
Great job! Love the talons on the boots. I am really looking forward to adding him to my collection.

08-16-2016, 09:16 PM
Does his birdy come off the staff or is he molded to it?

He's removable.

Fantastic design. I love that the club was able to use Marvel Archangel's wings.

Fantastic design. I love that the club was able to use Marvel Archangel's wings.

Those are the camo wings from the POC Jungle Viper.

08-17-2016, 01:30 PM
Yeah, they are the Jungle viper's wings. I just said that because they look like Archangel's wings.

08-17-2016, 01:34 PM
This is a great homage to the vintage Raptor, looks great.

08-18-2016, 01:09 AM
Can't wait to put him next to Fred.

08-18-2016, 07:07 AM
I believe the bird and staff are the same that came with the PoC Zartan figure.

08-18-2016, 09:09 AM
My mistake. I actually forgot that the Jungle Viper came with those wings.

08-18-2016, 04:09 PM
Nailed it! Beautiful.

08-18-2016, 05:31 PM
I was expecting the glider packs that came with Sky Creeper and Night Vulture, so those wings are a welcome surprise. I like this build for Raptor.

08-18-2016, 08:47 PM
Greatly pleased with this figure. Even the whistle works as a bird call. Just wish we had a flying falcon as well, maybe repaint Freedom from 25th Spirit.

08-19-2016, 11:34 AM
Love this figure, too bad they can't give us 2 falcon, the one on the perch and one that is flying.

08-19-2016, 04:10 PM
I love this figure. I wish it had proper boots to be more like the vintage one, but to be honest I had to look at the pic about 5 times before I realized they were missing.

08-24-2016, 01:16 PM
Looking forward to this one, darklon, sneak peek, scoop, viper, pretty much all of them except for salvo, flagg, and steel raven. However salvo is being changed, and if they change steel raven slightly I'll probably like her too. And general flagg is just meh. Not that I don't like flagg, but im,not crazy about what they did with him. But raptor has always been a favorite. I remember getting him as a kid and being super excited.

08-28-2016, 01:37 PM
Definitely the most important character for me in this sub. It's not too far from the custom one that's been sitting on my computer for the last few years. The new head sculpt is fantastic! I'll pick up Charbroil, Darklon & Sneak Peek as well for my carded collection, but I'm not paying for a 13 figure sub for 4 figures. I'll cherry pick 5.0 like I did 1.0 (Big Boa, Cover Girl & Dice).

08-29-2016, 02:33 PM
Please do not use the vintage bird cowl. Didn't we learn our lesson on Iceberg? Also, consider replacing those camo wings with Skydive's wings.

08-29-2016, 10:29 PM
Don't know about everyone else but I actually don't have any problem with the wings he has.

08-30-2016, 06:26 AM
Me either. He looks great. Some people like to complain just to complain.

08-30-2016, 06:52 AM
The real problem is getting such a positive response about Salvo, membership seems settled to nitpick every minor detail of every figure to the point of being unreasonable. I, for one, think Raptor is a perfectly acceptable representation of the original.

08-30-2016, 08:02 AM
You can always get that same backpack and replace Raptor's wings.

08-30-2016, 08:27 AM
The wings are perfect. DO NOT change them. This is a fine figure. There is no reason to nitpick it and if you want to put motorized wings or other things on feel free to customize it yourself.

08-30-2016, 12:25 PM
The vintage cowl is not a knitpick. It doesn't match the aesthetic of the modern sculpts on every other part of this figure.
